About me

Robin Rosenzweig Schkrutz

I have been making art all my life. I spent every Saturday morning starting at age 7 at the Museum of Modern Art school. We had great fun there making art and then spending the afternoon in the museum. I only stopped when I began attending The High School of Art and Design on 57th street in NYC. From there I went on to Pratt Institute, where I further developed my love for painting and ceramics. I graduated from Pratt with a BFA, and continued my art education taking art classes at places such as The School of Visual Arts and Parsons. In 2001 I began making ceramics again.

After a trip to London in Fall of 2006 I became inspired by the Egyptian Cat Mummies in the British Museum and began making Cat Urns. A trip to Costa Rica in 2011 excited me and started me on making masks.

Please check out my work in my gallery.

I also can make custom pieces, so if you don't see what you want, please contact me.

I also enjoy painting and collage, and all color, especially RED.
